Dr Melanie Harned is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington. A highly respected psychologist, she developed the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Prolonged Exposure protocol for treating Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr Harned authored the ground-breaking manual, Treating Trauma in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and has published extensively on its dissemination and implementation in clinical practice.
